JACOB LAWS INTERIOR DESIGN is a luxury residential and upmarket hospitality design firm rooted in the creative power of design and implemented through each unique project. The main objective: to positively influence the lives of clients and community. JLID is based in Charleston, South Carolina with projects across the United States.

Jacob’s designs tell his clients’ stories through his discerning eye and powerful intuition. His projects all maintain a level of confidence within the carefully collected and effortlessly refined details and his curatorial approach assures rhythmic individuality. The most successful designs are when a project is fulfilling and rewarding to both client’s daily lives and the designer’s need to imagine and build. Creating environments that are representative and reflective of his clients become designs which positively influence one’s quality of life.

The only directive to his process in a creative capacity, is that there is no formula. Jacob says, ‘ Any formula regulating imagination is the antithesis of ingenuity and stifles the creative process.’ “

Inspired by art, travel, fashion, culture, and history, Jacob’s curatorial eye defines one-of-a-kind designs tailored to each individual project and space he creates. These environments are classic with a modern edge and clean-cut with astute sophistication and style. The juxtaposition of old and new, classic and modern create a narrative that marks the expertly edited, and livable environments that transcend trends and create living environments that work seamlessly with the dynamics of a present momentum.

In addition to more than 18 Architecture and Design Industry Awards, his latest accolades include the prestigious Fashion Group International Rising Star Award winner for Home Design, Business of Home’s “50 States Project” feature, one of FIXr.com's 123 Top Design Industry Influencers (2021 and 2022), one of the ten esteemed US designers selected by the High Point Market Authority as 2022 Style Spotter ambassador and the honor of being added to the list of the distinguished 1stDibs International 50 Designers to Watch.
